Actually, it’s kind of a big deal because inflammation is the root cause of the so-called “inevitable diseases of aging” like…Alzheimer’s, arthritis, chronic pain, and even certain cancers.

Here’s how (let’s take a quick look)

  • Ginger – Ginger is a great anti-inflammatory, as well as an antioxidant.  Although it’s best known for helping with nausea, ginger also helps balance blood sugar, relieves joint and muscle pain,  protects the brain from cognitive decline, and helps digestion.
  • Cinnamon – Cinnamon has been used for thousands of years in medicine. Its oils reduce inflammation and help fight cancer. It helps with muscle soreness, helps balance blood sugar, lowers bad cholesterol and triglycerides, and protects the brain, heart, and DNA.
  • Turmeric – Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, has been well researched mainly because of its ability to cool inflammation. It also has been shown to have potential in beating certain cancers.
